Consultation on Proposed Removal of BT Phone Box PDF 44 KB Following the consultation that was launched on 21 November 2016, the following draft decision has been made in response to a proposal by British Telecommunications plc for the removal of the public telephone on A505 opposite the Imperial War Museum, Duxford.
The consultation follows an agreed process in line with Ofcom guidance.

Sunday 8 January: Sunday Express: Double blow ahead for rural families The Rural Services Network says that under the Local Government Finance Settlement, rural areas will lose more than 31 per cent of central government funding while urban areas will lose about 22 per cent.
