Homelessness Briefing: Mon 15 Jan 4pm-6pm

Please can we remind you that we have arranged a briefing on the Homelessness Reduction Act and its implications for the Council

Date:     Monday 15 January 2018

Time:     16.00 - 17:30

There has been much media coverage of the relentless increase in homelessness and its impact on those affected. South Cambs has always placed the emphasis on preventing homelessness but now even we are facing increasing challenges. The Homelessness Reduction Act brings additional responsibilities for all councils and reflecting the importance that South Cambs places on addressing this challenge, we have arranged for an external specialist facilitator to provide a briefing for all members.

Please may we ask that you respond to Sue Carter by Wednesday 10 January so that we can estimate numbers as some of our neighbouring councils are interested in taking any spare places we have for this important briefing.

5.

Cyber Security: Paul Sumpter, Head of Digital and ICT 3C Shared Services

Members will receive a briefing on online Cyber Security which will aim to increase Members' awareness regarding e-mail and messaging security.
