The Government is to make £60 million available to help the police and councils enforce coronavirus laws, it is reported, with a government announcement on the funding boost expected later.

To view the list of planning applications that have recently been submitted to the Council, please visit the authority’s on-line Planning Application Search. 

 

The system will provide a range of information on current and decided applications since 1948, including a brief description of the development, reference number, decision and the date of decision.  More recent applications show the name and telephone number of the council officer who is dealing with the application.

 

Search results are presented in a collection of pages, the number of which depends on the number of results your search produces.  There are navigation tools to allow you to browse your results.

 

 

 

Executive Decisions Taken Since Wednesday 30 September 2020

In accordance with the Access to Information Procedure Rules in Part 4 of the Council’s Constitution, any executive decision shall be published normally within five days of being made.  That record will bear the date on which it is published and will specify that the decision will come into force, and may then be implemented, on the expiry of 5 working days after the publication of the decision, unless called in for review by the Chairman of the Scrutiny and Overview Committee or by any five other councillors.

Consultation response for England's Economic Heartland's Draft Transport Strategy

The Deputy Leader of Council agreed to confirm that the response set out in Appendix A of the decision should be made to England’s Economic Heartland’s consultation on its Draft Transport Strategy.

 

This decision was first published on 1 October 2020 and so the deadline for call-in is 8 October 2020. If not called-in the decision can be implemented on 9 October 2020.

Community Chest Grants

The Lead Cabinet Member for Finance agreed the recommendations made by the Grants Advisory Committee of 25 September 2020.

10.

Covid Community Grant

The Lead Member for Finance agreed to make a total of £50,000 available for Covid-19 community support. For upfront funding of between £100 and £400 to be offered to each community for items such as sanitiser, printing and supporting those in acute need due to hardship and an immediate need to self-isolate. Further funding to be awarded by officers if groups require it to manage local outbreaks.

 

This decision was first published on 6 October 2020 and so the deadline for call-in is 13 October 2020. If not called-in the decision can be implemented on 14 October 2020.
