Domestic Abuse Briefing for District Councillors on 8 July at 6 pm

In September 2019, Cabinet considered a motion requesting that the Council achieve domestic abuse accreditation.  The purpose behind the motion was to ensure the provision of good quality advice and support to people experiencing domestic abuse.  Since then the council has started working towards accreditation with the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA). 

 

Councillors are invited to attend a Domestic Abuse briefing on Thursday 8 July from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. This briefing will provide an update the accreditation work and provide details of some of the key provisions in the Domestic Abuse Act.

To view the list of planning applications that have recently been submitted to the Council, please visit the authority’s on-line Planning Application Search. 

 

The system will provide a range of information on current and decided applications since 1948, including a brief description of the development, reference number, decision and the date of decision.  More recent applications show the name and telephone number of the council officer who is dealing with the application.

 

Search results are presented in a collection of pages, the number of which depends on the number of results your search produces.  There are navigation tools to allow you to browse your results.

 

 

 

Executive Decisions Taken Since Wednesday 16 June 2021

In accordance with the Access to Information Procedure Rules in Part 4 of the Council’s Constitution, any executive decision shall be published normally within five days of being made.  That record will bear the date on which it is published and will specify that the decision will come into force, and may then be implemented, on the expiry of 5 working days after the publication of the decision, unless called in for review by the Chairman of the Scrutiny and Overview Committee or by any five other councillors.

Appointments to the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority Overview and Scrutiny Committee

The Leader Agreed to appoint Councillor Aidan Van de Weyer as a member of the Cambridge and Peterborough Combined Authority Overview and Scrutiny Committee and Councillor Peter Fane as substitute member.

 

Please note that this decision cannot be called in.

Community Chest Grants and Covid Recovery Grants

The Lead Cabinet Member for Finance Agreed to accept the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee meeting on 28 May 2021.

 

This decision was first published on Tuesday 22 June and so the deadline for call-in is 5pm on Tuesday 29 June.
