LANDBEACH: Planning Applications

13/02/2018 - S/3372/17/CW - Landbeach (Levitt's Field, Waterbeach Waste Management Park, Ely Road)

This is only a consultation response. The application will be determined in due course by Cambridgeshire County Council.

 

The Committee endorsed the proposed response set out in paragraphs 45 to 48 of the report, subject to the following amendments:

 

Paragraph 46 of the report from the Joint Director for Planning and Economic Development

 

Delete “Officers are of the view that the proposal is at the upper limit of ‘less than substantial harm’…” and substitute “South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Planning Committee takes the view that the proposal would cause substantial harm…” and then replace “…serious harm…” with “…significant harm…”.


03/07/2015 - S/1050/15/FL - Landbeach (55 High Street)

The Committee approved the application contrary to the recommendation in the report from the Planning and New Communities Director. Members agreed the reasons for approval as being that the proposal was in keeping with the character and apprearance of the area, and did nothing to cause harm to the Conservation Area, or the setting of the adjacent Grade II Listed Building known as 53 High Street.


06/06/2014 - S/0403/14/FL - Landbeach (Land to rear of 51, High Street)

The Committee approved the application subject to

 

1.    the prior completion of a Legal Agreement under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 securing financial contributions towards

a.    the provision and maintenance of public open space

b.    community facilities

c.    the provision of household waste receptacles; and

2.    Plans confirming the position of the dwelling in relation to the site levels

3.    the conditions set out in the report from the Planning and New Communities Director.


06/06/2014 - S/2749/13/FL and S/2750/13/LB - Landbeach (Wort's Farm)

The Committee gave officers delegated powers to approve application number S/2749/13/FL subject to:

1.    The prior completion of a Legal Agreement under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 securing financial contributions towards

a.    the provision and maintenance of off-site public open space

b.    indoor community facilities

c.    the provision of household waste receptacles

d.    associated monitoring and legal fees

2.    the Conditions set out in the report from the Planning and New Communities Director; and

3.    an additional Condition requiring the provision of bird and bat boxes.

 

The Committee gave officers delegated powers to approve application number S/2750/13/LB subject to the Conditions set out in the report from the Planning and New Communities Director.


07/09/2012 - S/1306/12 - Landbeach (Cambridge Waste Management Park)

The Committee approved the application subject to the Conditions set out in the report from te Planning and New Communities Director, Condition 4 being amended to read “No further development …shall take place…” and to additional Conditions restricting HGV access to the site to access from the A10 only and details of biodiversity enhancement to be agreed.
