Reasons for the decision:

All applications were considered by the Grants Advisory Committee (with the Lead Member for Finance and the Lead Member for Environment present). The awards recommended were more than the funds provided by the CPCA for the scheme, so a further £14,695.10 will be provided by SCDC to fully fund all the highest scoring projects.

Alternative options considered:

To reject or vary the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee (GAC). Members rejected these options because the applications to be funded met the criteria for the grant.
