Please find attached road closures information for the week commencing Monday25 November, in relation to the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon improvement scheme.

Upcoming changes at Bar Hill junction:

Overnight on Monday, ready for Tuesday 26 November morning, we will be making changes at the Bar Hill and Oakington junctions.

We will open the new eastbound exit slip to Bar Hill J29 (green line on picture attached) which will take drivers from the A14 onto the new Bar Hill roundabout.

At the same time the current eastbound exit slip to Bar Hill just after Lolworth bridge will close and eastbound traffic exiting will no longer need to come along the long exit slip and turn left up the loop round to Bar Hill  (red crosses on picture attached)

The eastbound Bar Hill entry slip off the roundabout will join as the lane gain rather than merging into the existing lane one as it does at the moment.

This means we can then close the Oakington J30 eastbound entry slip.

Following approval by Cabinet on 18^th November, I started the formal 30 day consultation on the new senior management structure on 26^th November.  I have offered group briefings to all groups, and have already briefed two political groups on the proposals, but if you would like an update (either as a group or an individual member) please do not hesitate to contact me.  The outline timetable is as follows:

• 14 November – Employment & Staffing Committee (complete)
• 18 November – Cabinet (complete)
• 26 November – start of 30 day consultation
• January – internal appointments
• February – external appointments (if necessary)

Atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases once again reached new highs in 2018.

This decision was first published on 21 November 2019 and so the deadline for call-in is 5pm on Thursday 28 November.

The Lead Cabinet Member for Planning agreed to approve the designation of a Neighbourhood Area for Horseheath as proposed by the Parish Council.

This decision was first published on 25 November and so the deadline for call-in is 5pm on Monday 2 December.

The Lead Cabinet Member for Planning agreed to confirm the proposed content of the Greater Cambridge Local Plan Issues and Options document and update the Local Development Scheme, as set out in the documents appended to this decision.

This decision was first published on 26 November and so the deadline for call-in is 5pm on Tuesday 3 December.

The Chief Officer has agreed to set the tax base for South Cambridgeshire District Council at £63,6176 band D equivalents for 2020/21, and the tax base for each parish be set as shown in Appendix A to the report.
