Cambridgeshire ACRE: Community Facilities Study

The ACRE national survey takes place every 10 years.  Information regarding this has been posted on their website:

https://cambscommunitybuildings.wordpress.com/2020/02/10/survey-of-rural-englands-community-buildings-is-launched-this-week/ so, far around 25 community facilities in Cambridgeshire have completed the national survey and we are sending regular reminders round to the network.

You can download a list of the questions here: https://acre.org.uk/cms/resources/national-village-and-community-hall-survey-2020.pdf  You will note it is a very in-depth survey, this will enable ACRE to continue to lobby government on behalf of the network, which has proved very successful in previous years.

Once the survey has closed we expect to get a copy of the Cambridgeshire results as well as the national picture but this won’t be until later in the year.  The survey closes on the 31st March but may be extended especially due to the circumstances and uncertainty we find ourselves in at the moment.

Since 2016 the Cambridgeshire survey has been carried out annually and the results of these surveys can be downloaded here (scroll down to the bottom of the page) https://cambscommunitybuildings.wordpress.com/publications/community-building-survey-2017/
