Community Right to Bid - Assets of Community Value

In Great Eversden:

The Hoops Public House – The Council has refused the listing of The Hoops Public House and this will be added to the list of refused Assets.

In Longstanton:

The Black Bull Public House - The Council has Approved the listing of The Black Bull Public House as an Asset of Community Value until 17 March 2025.

 

The Council will update the asset register accordingly.

Monday 23 March: Mail: Coronavirus: bin collections

Several councils are reportedly reducing bin collection services because of staff shortages due to the coronavirus.

 

Wednesday 25 March: Mail: Coronavirus; £500 million emergency hardship fund to cover council tax bills

Families at most risk of financial hardship as a result of the coronavirus will be able to get help with their council tax payments after the Government published details of its £500 million hardship fund.

To view the list of planning applications that have recently been submitted to the Council, please visit the authority’s on-line Planning Application Search. 

 

The system will provide a range of information on current and decided applications since 1948, including a brief description of the development, reference number, decision and the date of decision.  More recent applications show the name and telephone number of the council officer who is dealing with the application.

 

Search results are presented in a collection of pages, the number of which depends on the number of results your search produces.  There are navigation tools to allow you to browse your results.

 

 

 

EXECUTIVE DECISIONS TAKEN SINCE WEDNESDAY 18 MARCH 2020

In accordance with the Access to Information Procedure Rules in Part 4 of the Council’s Constitution, any executive decision shall be published normally within five days of being made.  That record will bear the date on which it is published and will specify that the decision will come into force, and may then be implemented, on the expiry of 5 working days after the publication of the decision, unless called in for review by the Chairman of the Scrutiny and Overview Committee or by any five other councillors.

The call in procedure is set out in full in Part 4 of the Council’s Constitution, ‘Scrutiny and Overview Committee Procedure Rules’

8.

Greater Cambridge Housing Trajectory and Five-Year Housing Land Supply Calculations

The Lead Cabinet Member for Planning AGREED 

(a)          the Greater Cambridge Housing Trajectory and Five-Year Housing Land Supply document (Appendix 1 of this decision) to be published on the Councils’ websites.

(b)          to delegate any further minor editing changes to the Greater Cambridge Housing Trajectory and Five-Year Housing Land Supply document to the Joint Director for Planning and Economic Development where they are technical matters.

 

This decision was first published on Monday 23 March and so the deadline for call-in expires on Monday 30 March at 5pm.

Variation of Scheme of Delegation: to Head of Finance to amend Non-Domestic Rate Discretionary Relief Policy pdf icon PDF 109 KB

In accordance with the Council’s Constitution, Part 3, Responsibility for Executive Functions, please find attached a decision taken by the Leader to refine the allocation of functions and responsibilities as set out in Table 2B within the Constitution. To give delegated authority to the Head of Finance to amend Non-Domestic Rates Discretionary Relief Policy, where updates are required as a result of Government guidance.

10.

Amendment to Discretionary Business Rate Relief Policy (Response to COVID-19)

The Head of Finance AGREED to adopt the updated version of the Discretionary Business Rate Relief Policy, shown in Appendix B.
