Planned road closures week commencing 23 November - A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon Improvement pdf icon PDF 124 KB

Please find attachedroad closures information for week commencing 23 November in relation to the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon improvement scheme.

 

Please note, the closures of the A1307 aren’t being undertaken by the A14 project team but have been included in this report to ensure you’re all aware of the work.

3.

M11 Junctions 11 to 12

Work on the M11 between junctions 11 and 12 plan to be completed as follows:

Southbound between junctions 12 and 11 over one night on Thursday 26 November, working between the hours of 9pm to 6am.

For the M11 bridge over the River Granta additional weekend closures are needed and will take place from 9pm on Friday 27 November to 6am on Monday 30 November and 9pm Friday 4 December to 6am Monday 7 December. These closures will be in place for 24 hours on the M11 southbound between junction 12 and junction 11.

Northbound between junctions 11 and 12 over three nights from Monday 7 December to Wednesday 9 December, working between the hours of 9pm to 6am.

 

Diversion routes

Please note, there has also been a change to the agreed diversion route which is detailed below. Whilst work is being carried out in both directions, traffic will be diverted off the M11 at junction 12 via the A603, A1198 and A505 to re-join the M11 at junction 10.

Fundraising in Rural Communities Event: Thu 10 December 6pm to 7:30pm

The Cambridge Council for Voluntary Service (CCVS) are running an evening session aimed at community groups to look at successful online fundraising ideas and other ways of raising finance beyond grant funding.  Priority will be given to groups/communities in (or serving residents of) South Cambridgeshire. This is an opportunity to hear from other community groups about:

Running a successful crowdfunding campaign

Hosting an online community fundraiser including raffles and competitions

 

The session is a chance to hear what others have done, ask questions, share your own ideas and experience and influence the content of future CCVS sessions.

To view the list of planning applications that have recently been submitted to the Council, please visit the authority’s on-line Planning Application Search. 

 

The system will provide a range of information on current and decided applications since 1948, including a brief description of the development, reference number, decision and the date of decision.  More recent applications show the name and telephone number of the council officer who is dealing with the application.

 

Search results are presented in a collection of pages, the number of which depends on the number of results your search produces.  There are navigation tools to allow you to browse your results.

 

 

 

Executive Decisions Taken Since Wednesday 18 November 2020

In accordance with the Access to Information Procedure Rules in Part 4 of the Council’s Constitution, any executive decision shall be published normally within five days of being made.  That record will bear the date on which it is published and will specify that the decision will come into force, and may then be implemented, on the expiry of 5 working days after the publication of the decision, unless called in for review by the Chairman of the Scrutiny and Overview Committee or by any five other councillors.

Community Chest Grants (October 2020)

The Lead Cabinet Member for Finance agreed to award the Community Chest Grants, as recommended by the Grants Advisory Committee.

 

This decision was published on Tuesday 24 November and so the deadline for call-in is Tuesday 1 December at 5pm.
