The King William IV Public House, Heydon  – The Council has approved the listing of The King William IV Public House as an Asset of Community Value until 05 May 2026

Applications Open for Community Projects to Help Move Towards Zero Carbon

Applications this year are invited for projects under the three themes:

1.    Community buildings

2.    Tree planting/nature

3.    Other projects which reduce carbon emissions

 

The deadline for applications to be received by the Council is 5pm on Friday 30 July 2021.

 

You can read about the local projects we have already funded through the Zero Carbon Communities Grant scheme.

 

Please also join us for our workshop on 'How to make a successful Zero Carbon Communities grant application' on June 7 2021 at 7pm.

To view the list of planning applications that have recently been submitted to the Council, please visit the authority’s on-line Planning Application Search. 

 

The system will provide a range of information on current and decided applications since 1948, including a brief description of the development, reference number, decision and the date of decision.  More recent applications show the name and telephone number of the council officer who is dealing with the application.

 

Search results are presented in a collection of pages, the number of which depends on the number of results your search produces.  There are navigation tools to allow you to browse your results.

 

 

 

Executive Decisions Taken Since Wednesday ...

In accordance with the Access to Information Procedure Rules in Part 4 of the Council’s Constitution, any executive decision shall be published normally within five days of being made.  That record will bear the date on which it is published and will specify that the decision will come into force, and may then be implemented, on the expiry of 5 working days after the publication of the decision, unless called in for review by the Chairman of the Scrutiny and Overview Committee or by any five other councillors.

Provision of 3 no. affordable homes off Strawberry Farm, Pampisford Road, Gt Abington

The Lead Cabinet Member for Housing

 

Agreed

 

A)   to enter into Heads of Terms followed thereafter by a JCT contract for the build of the 3 affordable homes and a land contract and transfer to purchase the site for the 3 affordable homes at Strawberry Farm, Great Abington.

 

B)   To approve the sale of and grant of shared ownership leases up to a maximum of 50% for the shared ownership properties with the option to staircase to 80%.

 

This decision was published on Monday 10 May and so the deadline for call-in is 5pm on Monday 17 May.

Provision of 4 affordable homes at Meadowcroft Way, Orwell SG8 5QU

The Lead Cabinet Member for Housing Agreed to enter into Heads of Terms followed thereafter by a JCT contract for the build of the 4 affordable homes.

 

This decision was published on Tuesday 11 May and so the deadline for call-in is 5pm on Tuesday 18 May.
