Update on M11 Junctions 8 to 10 Bridge Repairs pdf icon PDF 433 KB

Highways England have provided us with the following details regarding the bridge repairs between Junctions 8 and 10 of the M11.

 

Northbound closures   

M11 junction 8 to 10 northbound full closure 

·         Friday 15 October - Monday 18 October – full weekend closure (9pm Friday to 5am Monday)

·         Friday 29 October - Monday 01 November – full weekend closure (9pm Friday to 5am Monday)

·         Sunday 21 November – 9pm to 5am 

·         Friday 26 November to Monday 29 November – full weekend closure (9pm Friday to 5am Monday)

 

Northbound traffic will be diverted off the M11 at junction 8 onto the A120, A10 and the A505 before re-joining M11 at junction 10. (Diagram 1)

 

M11 junction 9 to 10 northbound single lane closure 

·         Monday 4 October to Friday 15 October – 9pm to 5am   

·         Monday 15 November to Friday 19 November – 9pm to 5am   

 

Southbound closures 
M11 junction 10 to 8 southbound full closure 

·         Sunday 17 October – 9pm to 5am

 

Southbound traffic will be diverted off the M11 at junction 10 onto the A505, A10 and A120 to re-join the M11 at junction 8. (Diagram 1)

View Planning Applications

To view the list of planning applications that have recently been submitted to the Council, please visit the authority’s on-line Planning Application Search. 

 

The system will provide a range of information on current and decided applications since 1948, including a brief description of the development, reference number, decision and the date of decision.  More recent applications show the name and telephone number of the council officer who is dealing with the application.

 

Search results are presented in a collection of pages, the number of which depends on the number of results your search produces.  There are navigation tools to allow you to browse your results.

 

 

 

Executive Decisions Taken Since Wednesday ...

In accordance with the Access to Information Procedure Rules in Part 4 of the Council’s Constitution, any executive decision shall be published normally within five days of being made.  That record will bear the date on which it is published and will specify that the decision will come into force, and may then be implemented, on the expiry of 5 working days after the publication of the decision, unless called in for review by the Chairman of the Scrutiny and Overview Committee or by any five other councillors.

Creating a Vision Oxford-Cambridge Arc Consultation

The Lead Cabinet Member for Planning Agreed the Council’s response to the Creating a Vision Oxford-Cambridge Arc Consultation.

 

This decision was first published on 7 October and so the deadline for call-in is 5pm on Thursday 14 October.

Zero Carbon Communities (ZCC) Grant Scheme

The Lead Cabinet Member for Finance Agreed to accept the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee of 24 September 2021.

 

This decision was first published on 11 October and so the deadline for call-in is 5pm on Monday 18 October.
