To consider an application for the erection of eight new self-build and custom dwellings. (Report attached)

The committee deferred the application to enable the applicant to amend the description of development and submit information relating to the custom build status of the properties proposed to be built along with other additional information.

To consider an application for the erection of 1 No. dwelling together with associated car and cycle parking, infrastructure and landscaping. (report attached)

By unanimous vote, the Committee approved the application in accordance with the officer’s recommendations and associated informatives (with minor amendments to the conditions as drafted delegated to officers) subject to:

(i) the amendment of the commencement expiration period to two years rather than three in condition (1);

(ii) a further new condition dealing with surface water drainage on the site; and

(iii) the removal of condition (7) (Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Plan)

To consider an application for the construction of 2 No. Semi-detached single storey dwellings on land in the rear garden of 55 Narrow lane with access from Muncey Walk. (Report attached)

By six votes for (Councillors Bradnam, Garvie, Handley, Rixon, Sandford, R Williams) and three votes against (Councillors A Cahn, Hawkins and Fane) the Committee refused the application in accordance with the officer’s recommendations.

To consider an application for the demolition of existing dwelling and outbuildings and the erection of 1 No. self build dwelling and associated works. (Report attached)

By five votes for (Councillors Bradnam, Garvie, Handley, Rixon, H Williams) and two votes against (Councillors Hawkins and R Williams) and one abstention (Councillor Sandford) the Committee refused the application in accordance with the officer’s recommendations.

The committee further approved that, should an appeal against the decision be lodged, authority be given to officers to negotiate and complete the Planning Obligation relating to self build required in connection with the development.

To consider an application for the demolition of existing garage with part two storey, part single storey front and side extension with chimney. Detached garage/garden room to side boundary. (Report attached)

By unanimous vote, the Committee approved the application in accordance with the officer’s recommendations with minor amendments to the conditions as drafted delegated to officers.
