1.	Election of Chairman of Corporate Governance Committee 2010/11 View the background to item 1. View the decision for item 1. Decision: It was RESOLVED that Councillor Peter Topping be elected Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee for the 2010/11 Civic Year. Minutes: Councillor Peter Topping was proposed by Councillor Francis Burkitt and seconded by Councillor David McCraith. Councillor John Batchelor was proposed by Councillor John G Williams and seconded by Councillor Douglas de Lacey. Both candidates left the room for the duration of the election. On a vote being taken it was RESOLVED, with three voting in favour and two against, that Councillor Peter Topping be elected Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee for the 2010/11 Civic Year.
2.	Appointment of Vice-Chairman of Corporate Governance Committee 2010/11 View the background to item 2. View the decision for item 2. Decision: It was RESOLVED that Councillor Francis Burkitt be appointed Vice-Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee for the 2010/11 Civic Year. Minutes: Councillor Francis Burkitt was proposed by Councillor David McCraith and seconded by Councillor Mervyn Loynes. Councillor John Batchelor was proposed by Councillor Douglas de Lacey and seconded by Councillor John G Williams. Both candidates left the room for the duration of the election. On a vote being taken it was RESOLVED, with three voting in favour and two against, that Councillor Francis Burkitt be appointed Vice-Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee for the 2010/11 Civic Year.
