Community Chest: Funding Applications Additional documents:
Minutes: The Development Officer presented the report. The Committee reviewed the Community Chest applications received between 11 March and 7 April 2025.
After consideration of the applications, the Committee recommended to the Lead Cabinet Member for Resources that:
1. Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust (JKKMFZQT) be approved and funded at the full amount requested of £1,900
2. Eltisley Parish Council (BRSLKHGB) be approved and funded at the full amount requested of £635
3. Sheddit! (JDSKQMJR) be approved and funded at the full amount requested of £850
4. Melbourn Fete Committee (WDPBHTJR) was not funded, but deferred pending further information on how funding would be targeted specifically at those South Cambridgeshire residents who are most in need.
5. Cottenham Village College- part of the Astrea Academy Trust (TPSCLTSR) be approved and funded at the full amount requested of £1,996.82.

Electric Vehicle Charge Point Grant: Funding Applications Additional documents:
Minutes: The committee considered a grant application and recommendation to the Grants Advisory Committee (GAC) for the award of funding from South Cambridgeshire District Council’s (SCDC) Electric Vehicle Charge Point Fund 2024/25. Funding has been carried forward from 2024/25 into the current financial year to allow for consideration of any applications to the grant that were under preparation but not submitted prior to the end of the 2024/25 financial year.
The application was from Bourn Parish Council for the installation of one single-socket 22kW EVCP on the wall of the Bourn Sports Pavilion, and two tarmac car parking spaces to serve the charger.
After consideration of the application, the Committee recommended to the Lead Cabinet Member for Resources that the application be funded. |
