Employment and Staffing Committee
Purpose of committee
The Employment Committee is one of the Council’s Regulatory Committees, which are bodies which have decision-making powers and report to full Council. Membership is decided at Annual Council. Further details about the responsibilities of each Regulatory Committee are available in Part 2: Article 8 and Part 3 of the Constitution.
The Employment Committee deals with the appointment of senior management, re-gradings and disciplinary and grievance issues. Due to the subject matter being discussed, Employment Committee meetings generally are not open to the public.
