The Committee gave officer delegated powers to approve the application subject to the prior completion of a Unilateral Undertaking binding any site operator to using the A505 or internal farm tracks for deliveries, and the Conditions set out in the report from the Planning and New Communities Director. Members also sought to protect the historic Bran Ditch by asking officers to negotiate an alternative route for connecting the proposal to the National Grid.
The Committee approved the application as amended by revised site plan date stamped 15 February 2011, subject to the Conditions set out in the report from the Corporate Manager (Planning and New Communities) (Condition 8 being amended to refer to ‘window’ instead of ‘windows’) and an extra Condition relation to design of the carport.
The Committee noted that this application had been withdrawn from the agenda.
Refused on the basis of sub-paragraphs (c), (f) and (g) at paragraph 3 of the report having a harmful effect on the Conservation Area and setting of the adjoining Listed Building. The Committee instructed officers to consider appropriate enforcement action in respect of each of those three sub-paragraphs and reasonable periods for compliance where appropriate.
