09/09/2011 - S/1341/11 - Little Wilbraham (Station Farm, London Road, Six Mile Bottom)

The Committee approved the application, subject to the Conditions set out in the report from the Corporate Manager (Planning and New Communities), and to it being referred to the Secretary of state as a departure from the Development Plan and not being called in by him for determination.

The Committee approved the application, as amended by e-mail dated 7 July 2011, subject to the Conditions set out in the report from the Corporate Manager (Planning and New Communities).


04/09/2009 - S/0629/08/F - Little Eversden (Land adj 52 Harlton Road)

The Committee resolved that the wording of the Section 106 Legal Agreement be changed so that, if other sites exist and come forward, they can help meet overall unmet need in both Little and Great Eversden.

The Committee gave officers delegated powers to approve the application, subject to the Conditions referred to in the report from the Corporate Manager (Planning and Sustainable Communities).

Councillor NIC Wright declared a personal interest by virtue of his acquaintance with an individual in the public gallery, believed to be connected with the application.

 

Councillor Mrs DSK Spink was not present during the debate, and did not vote.


16/05/2006 - S/0364/06/F - Little Wilbraham

Delegated Approval contrary to the recommendation contained in the report from the Director of Development Services. Having visited the site, Members considered it to be a suitable location for the conversion of buildings and, recognising the facility’s importance as a centre of excellence, expressed satisfaction that the proposal did not conflict with Policy EM4 of the South Cambridgeshire Local Plan 2004.  Consent would be subject to Conditions relating to, among other things, landscaping, details of the proposed conversion, and measures to preserve the tree.  In the light of these considerations and the nature of representations, the application would not be referred to the Secretary of State as a departure from the Development Plan.

Approval contrary to the report, subject to agreement on the inclusion of more sympathetic windows and a conservation rooflight.  Reason: no adverse impact on the adjacent property.   Hence, it complies with Policy HG12 of the South Cambridgeshire Local Plan 2004.  Members had visited the site and the garden of 51 High street.
