Cabinet APPROVED the Workforce Plan, including the Action Plan.
The Finance and Staffing Portfolio Holder ENDORSED, subject to the amendments discussed at the meeting, the draft Workforce Plan, and AGREED to recommend that Cabinet adopt the Workforce Plan in September 2009.
The Staffing Portfolio Holder APPROVED the revised Workforce Plan and RECOMMENDED:
i) the Plan to Cabinet,
ii) that the Action Plan be built into service plans for implementation by the officers concerned, and
iii) that succession planning be given greater priority within a corporate approach to the issue.

AGREED to approve the revised Workforce Plan and to request the Action Plan to be built into service plans and implemented by the officers concerned, with a particular focus on a review of the workforce and succession planning to ensure a corporate approach to this issue.
Council RESOLVED that the Workforce Plan 2006/07 to 2008/09 be approved.
