Reason for urgency:
The Chairman of the Scrutiny and Overview Committee has been informed and their agreement obtained for the consideration of the item to take place in private without 28 clear days’ notice of this being given. This is in accordance with paragraph 6 of Section 5 of Part 2 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012. The meetings cannot reasonably be deferred to allow the statutory notice to be given, as the consideration of the provision of financial support is needed as soon as possible due to the financial pressures as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
