Setting of the Council Tax Base for 2021-22 - Revised

 

 

To report the calculation of the Council Tax base for 2021/22 and to request the Chief Financial Officer exercise the delegated power to formally set the Council’s Council Tax base for 2021/22.

 

The original decision as taken on 9th December 2021, but following a late response to the consultation, the final figure requires amendment.

 

Adjustments have also been made to account for the Northstowe Community Governance Review which has affected the final taxbase figures for Longstanton, Northstowe and Willingham.

Consultees

All Parish Councils were consulted on draft individual tax base determinations during November 2020. Responses were received from four parishes, with one leading to an adjustment being made in finalising the taxbase as recommended in this report.
