Approval of the South Cambridgeshire District Council 2021-22 Modern Slavery Statement

The purpose of this decision is to provide approval of the Modern Slavery Statement, which has been produced in accordance with the authority’s duties under the Modern Slavery Act, 2015.

 

The statement sets out the actions and steps the Council will take through its policies, processes and procedures to understand, prevent and act against modern slavery and human trafficking through our supply chains and activities.

The Modern Slavery Statement has been created in consultation with officers from across the Council’s services, including Procurement, HR, Fraud, Sustainable Communities, Environmental Health and Licensing, and Housing. It has also been subject to discussion and input from Leadership Team prior to presentation and discussion at Informal Cabinet on 12/07/21.
