Consultees

Consultations with the public were carried out in autumn 2004 and the results were reported to Cabinet at its meeting on 14th October 2004. The results showed that 48% of respondents preferred the option of a £140 Council Tax for 2005/06, 40% preferred £120 and 12% preferred £160. A 60% preference was also expressed for medium cost/medium service approach with Council Tax and service performance being around the national average.
