Parish council

Bourn Parish Council meets on the third Wednesday every month except August and December beginning with May, when the annual Parish Council meeting must be held.  Meetings are in the Village Hall starting at 7.30 p.m.

However once a year and otherwise at the discretion of the Parish Council, Public Meetings are held. At these, members of the public have a chance to question and comment on any matter of concern. This is an opportunity for the Council to report to the Parish and explain policies.

Dates and times of any extra-ordinary meetings are published on the Council’s notice boards. The public and press are cordially invited to attend the Parish Council’s meetings. 10 minutes or so at the start of the meeting are set aside for the public to address the Council on any matter on the agenda.
