County Lines (and exploitation of young people) awareness from South Cambs Community Safety Partnership (CSP)

A relationship between a drug dealer and a local young person may begin in a way that feels friendly and beneficial to the young person, and so they may not tell their parents the details, or realise they are at risk. The South Cambs CSP, led by officers within SCDC, are hosting Ivison Trust who have a wealth of experience supporting families, to raise awareness of signs to look out for and ways to find support.

The session will take place at Cambourne Soul on Weds 8th May from 6:30pm. You can find more details here: County Lines Awareness in Cambridgeshire - Free Parent Session Tickets, Wed 8 May 2024 at 18:30 | Eventbrite. The session is open to over 18s from across the district, we hope to host further sessions in other areas and any questions can be directed to communitysafety@scambs.gov.uk . Please do advertise this session to your residents (there is also a Facebook event for ease of advertising)
