South Cambridgeshire
District Council consists of 57 Members, otherwise known as
councillors. Councillors must be
registered voters in South Cambridgeshire or live or work within
the district. Further details,
including the roles and functions of Councillors and the
recognition of political groups are available in
Part 2 Article 2 of the Constitution.
These special meetings of the full Council
were convened during late 2004 and early 2005 so that all members
had an opportunity to consider the various sections of the
South Cambridgeshire Local Development Framework.
Further meetings were called in 2007 and 2008
to consider Area Action Plans.
