This recommendation to Council cannot be called in
Cabinet recommended to Council that, at its meeting in February 2019, the Income Bands Discount Localised Council Tax Support Scheme (Option2) be adopted for 2019-2020.

AGREED To continue with the current Localised Council Tax Support Scheme for 2014/15.
Cabinet: -
(a) NOTED the feedback from the operation of the 2013/14 Localised Council Tax Support Scheme.
(b) RECOMMENDED to Full Council the continuation of the current Localised Council Tax Support Scheme for 2014/15.
(c) AGREED that the parish grant would not be payable in 2014/15.

Council APPROVED the draft Localised Council Tax Support Scheme, including the amendments proposed to the current council tax discounts and exemptions, as set out in the hyperlink contained within the report, pursuant to Section 13a(2) of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (as amended).

The Scrutiny and Overview Committee SUPPORTED the recommendation to Council that it adopts the proposed Council Tax Reduction Scheme.
Cabinet:
(i) NOTED the feedback from the consultation on the development of a Localised Council Tax Support Scheme.
(ii) RECOMMENDED that Council approve the draft Localised Council Tax Support Scheme at its meeting on 31 January 2013 subject to the enactment of the relevant legislation and the final grant settlement being in line with current forecasts.
Cabinet RESOLVED that stakeholders be consulted on the options for the design of a Localised Council Tax Support Scheme which:
(a) Delivers the Government’s budget reduction in full;
(b) Protects those considered vulnerable, and
(c) Provides for revisions to council tax discounts as detailed in Appendix A to the report.
