Grants Advisory Committee (GAC) met on the 27th August 2021 to examine the delivery of Service Support Grant programmes to the voluntary sector funded by the council. Funding agreements for grants provided through the Service Support Grants programme are for three years, subject to satisfactory performance at annual review.
The report covered the financial year 2020/2021, which corresponds to year 2 of the current 3-year agreements.
It was noted that the past 18 months have been exceptional, and organisations are still impacted by the Covid pandemic, particularly the community transport schemes.
